Unsuspecting Strike does a better job. Rly needs a buff nao. Prolly make the bonus damage trigger if you are suffering from a condition...--Underwood 11:54, 15 August 2008 (UTC)

I found out why it is Desperate Strike. Because you must be desperate to use this skills xD --Underwood 07:28, 25 July 2009 (UTC)

lol it does +60 dmg its like hittin 80 with single strike, this aint that bad

15 Dagger mastery --> Asuran Scan --> "I Am The Strongest!" --> "Dodge This!" --> Desperate Strike = 172 dmg vs. 100 Armor Dummy in Isle of the Nameless. Asura Rank 7, Norn Rank 6. Still not worth it, but it was nice to see triple figures vs the 100 Armor Dummy. ~ A R A ~ 01:55, 18 September 2009 (UTC)

How about this?[edit]

Desperate Strike. 10 energy. 20 second recharge. Melee dagger attack (No longer is a lead attack, but needs daggers to work.) If it hits, you die. Target foe takes +1 damage for every point of health that you have lost BEFORE using Desperate Strike and target foe is knocked down for 3 seconds. Target foe takes an additional 7...15...20 damage for each hex and condition you had at the time of the strike. Deaths from this skill do not reduce progress to Survivor title, but still incurs a Death Penalty. 71.194.87.164 09:04, 13 April 2014 (UTC)
