Talk:Dry Top

If you plan on vanquishing this one, you should know that there's usually a group of 3 Maguuma Protectors in the NE section, making it nasty. Outdamaging them is very difficult with six people, but e-denial of diversion works well.--The preceding unsigned comment was added by User: (talk).

Thanks for the tip. — Eloc 23:28, 22 April 2008 (UTC)

Try standard Sab and a warrior with the combo Drunken Master+Dragon Slash+Steelfang Slash+Brawling Headbutt+Soldier's Strike.Prmiary warriors should have no problems.I'm a R/W and I had no rpbolems :D Remember those guys can run outta energy if pounded long enuf :> -- 22:53, 10 September 2008 (UTC)

Typically when protectors are in groups of 3 at least one of them will kite. Just make sure that it kites beyond casting range and the others go down in a few seconds especially with a MM. Also, try using spirit shackles if you are still having problems with it. Kelvin Greyheart 15:35, 17 December 2008 (UTC)

RoJ+AE and Finish Him is enough to drop them with presure. Thing about these guys is that they are only good at healing/protecting others--Justice 07:25, 16 February 2009 (UTC)

Can someone confirm the tip stating that it is easier to get through this area via the North East path? I haven't come through here on NM, but on HM Northeast is at least as difficult, if not moreso. -- Arkhar 19:37, 2 April 2009 (UTC)

The answer is yes. There are less foes via the NE path. But considering that the area has about 60 foes (including pop-ups) the difference is no more than 10-15 foes. Meselle85.75.170.68 21:16, 26 December 2009 (UTC)

59 Foes, 18min. vanq/maping. Nothing is a real challenge here. In fact that note about travel is just silly considering anyone just running through here will be in nm and anyone coming here will be in HM vanqing it anyhow. Besides, who the hell ever comes through here for anything beyond vanqing? I could say that about 75% of the magumma and not look completely foolish. Magumma Stade FTW! Are there any quests or anything, involving this area? As far as i can see, this area has no use and is completley pointless... Baby Charr Goes Rawrr 14:59, 13 September 2010 (UTC)

Wierdly ran through this area earlier to get to the Henge for the skill trainer - it doesn't have a purpose but it DOES have a tree trunk base which all of the centaurs gather around [the dry top]--File:User Chieftain Alex Chieftain Signature.pngChieftain Alex 16:06, 13 September 2010 (UTC)
This area is useful for chain vanquishing all of Maguuma with the henchmen you brought from the Temple of Ages. 15:19, 13 October 2010 (UTC)
