Here is what i did in HM:

1. Clear the way all to the end of the second bridge, where the Cross-section is.
(the North path takes you to the prisoners, the East path to the quest exit and the West path to some more ministry mobs and a ress shrine)
2. Take the East path and clear it.
3. Return to the Cross-section, take the West path and clear it all to the first ress shrine.
(note: there are loads of ministry mobs around the ress shrine which the melee NPCs or minions often aggro. So pull carefully or approach from the parallel bridge on the west)
4. From there head north and at the end turn east, clear the ministry mobs all the way and stop before the friendly ministry mobs. You now stand west from the prisoners and friendly ministry mobs.
5. Make all the necessary arrangements while the dialog continues. Flag 1 hero west from your position. His job is to delay the advance of the west wave that will come after you kill the ministry mobs guarding the prisoners.
6. When the dialog ends kill the ministry mobs quickly and move your entire party to the west hero to help him kill the west wave, which is easy as it contains only few mobs, while you do that some more waves will spawn from the south, but you will completly avoid them since your entire party was moved west and out of aggro range of the approaching south ministry wave.
(note: how ever you can still pull them if some of your minions wander off or some spirits were left behind. In that case i suggest to cast spirits again at a safe location, manualy)
7. Kill the small west wave and continue your way form were you came backwards to the cross-section, then take the East path which was cleared before. Wait for the end dialog to be finished and you have completed the quest.

Quest Addition[edit]

They should add a "bonus" to this quest for keeping all alive...in both NM and now in HM I was able to keep all the Prisoners alive. They should reward that. (Usaf1a8xx 22:29, 7 November 2011 (UTC))

Wow[edit]

That worked great, have to be super fast, I did aggro the south party but I brought along some cons just in case...finally made it. I was struggling with this one in HM for a while. Definitely helped flagging a hero..I used my necro mm hero..kept them from rushing in even though she didn't live long her minions held them back....one of my healer's spirits drew the south mob but I was able to regroup pop cons and hold my ground. didnt lose a single bird. I also cleared both bridges and when I picked up the ally birds i used the left bridge the quest gets triggered pretty easy if your not careful. --The preceding unsigned comment was added by 68.32.181.107 (talk) at 21:03, 29 January 2012 (UTC).
