This meme was quite widespread on its time (which is often a relatively short time for many memes). The most famous instance of this meme is "Disregard women, acquire currency". You can follow the link and read the article to understand better. Often you'll see people finding references out of nowhere, but this content was intentionally packed with references, and every single line the Golem says isn't an exception. So basically this reference claim is based on a sentence fragment consisting of 4 words and starting with the word "disregard"? Indeed the Annihilator quests are full of solid references, but in comparison this claim seems to be out of thin air. 65.87.26.122 19:40, 3 April 2012 (UTC)

It's the first word and the structure what defines this meme: "Disregard <noun>, <verb> <noun>". This meme construct has been featured in other media too in several forms, almsot always following the same structure. MithTalk 20:12, 3 April 2012 (UTC)

  • I can't remember. It keeps reinging my bell, all I know is that it's based on some android or robot attempt to insult in battle. Maybe one of Nordom's or HK-47 battle quotes?
