How much is it worth some people were saying to buy it, it normally cost 8.5 - 10k is that true info? ~C
Golden Flame of Balthazar is now not worth it!![edit]
With the introduction of Z-Keys, golden flame is useless. Getting one costs 15 tournament points for 3k balth faction. 15 tournament pts also gets you 3 Z-keys (getting 3 z-keys from balth faction is 15k). Besides, what the point of you getting an item that gives you balth when you get plenty of balth from the tournaments anyway. Robert Batchelor 07:17, 11 May 2008 (UTC)

Where they got the Name[edit]
Before we say that the name is based on a french battle standard, we should first think that is is more likely that it has nothing to do with the french and everything to do with it being an elite version of a Flame of Balthazar. I am currently waiting for a responce about where the name came from.

This is one of the lamest items in the entire game now[edit]
Who in their right mind would EVER get this for 15 tournament reward points?! I realize it may have been good at 1 point but now it's not at all and If you REALLY want balthazar faction that badly then get 3 zaishen keys instead and sell them for 15k or so and then you can buy at least 7 regular flames of balthazar with the money, giving you more than 2x the amount of faction. I would say to make this 1 tournament point instead but then you could get 3 keys for 5 points instead of 1 key for 5 points, so I don't know what a good solution would be, but it really should be changed.
