It's not crap when they cast it with 13 domination...dealing 110+ dmg, then them covering it with conjure phantasm and nightmare -.- trying to remove that AFTER removing the other two was insane. I believed it was changed because it could offend the Islamic religion, because it has "holy" on it, with a female monk with a veil.

Question

when you're enchanted with this, and you recast it on yourself, do you remove a hex? Close Impact 16:40, 21 May 2008 (UTC)

I doubt that recasting this in general will cause this skill to remove a hex. ("End effect: removes a hex.") —ZerphaThe Improver 14:58, 2 July 2008 (UTC)

although it may be annoying you can dump this enchantment just before or during casting to remove a hex as well. Possibly a solution to your question/answer on if you get a hexed removed if recasted.--Justice 18:18, 12 July 2008 (UTC)

I do utilize this technique so I am almost 100% of the time veiled. Whenever I have an hex on me that I want removed, I start casting Holy Veil, and during the casting time I double click the previous Veil icon to remove it. Immediately after the casting finishes I am veiled again and not hexed. Works well. :)--Sensei 18:15, 19 November 2009 (UTC)

Non-targeting hexes

I would assume non-targeting hexes like Grasping Earth, shouldn't be effected by Holy Veil. Lightblade 19:33, 27 June 2009 (UTC)

About the icon

Knowing ANet's legal paranoia, you're probably right. I like this new one too though, so sometimes I switch them around with texmod. I wish they would release a real high-res version, the one I made myself is a POS. —Jette 18:19, 22 September 2009 (UTC)
