Talk:Howland the Elementalist

This is very likely common for all the starting trainers, but if you leave for the first time accompanied by another player, the two trainers will have a short conversation. A new Elementalist of mine and a Necromancer ally left Ascalon city, spawing Howland and Verata. I missed Verata's quote (presumably) due to loading, but saw Howland's response (something along the lines of "Ahem. Yes, Verata. Quite." Not sure on that.) Somewhat easy to document, if there are two accounts with spare slots and willing to constantly reroll new Prophecies chars to check on the dialogue. I don't think party position affects it, since I was the party leader and Verata presumably spoke first. But a fun little tidbit nonetheless. --Valentein 02:45, 9 August 2007 (UTC)

That's intyeresting. These needs to be checked out anyway. Could be considered an easter egg, as being in a party at that time is highly unlikely. Backsword 12:04, 9 August 2007 (UTC)
pre has so many easter eggs... However, another connection between Howland and Verata is that both have skills that are named (were named) after them. —ZerphatalkThe Improver 19:40, 19 November 2007 (UTC)
I've seen that before too. But it was between the monk and warrior trainer... Was so long ago I don't remember what it was 09:59, 20 July 2008 (UTC)
