Because of the fact that they are both indigenous to and 99% found in Australian waters, no... it'd be like "Polar bears live in the arctic, but also have been known to survive in hotter climates in zoos." 72.38.32.223 14:29, 3 August 2009 (UTC)

New trivia

I was wondering if we should add something about Irukandji syndrome, this right here is copy-paste from [1]: Irukandji syndrome is a condition that is induced by venomization through the sting of Carukia barnesi, a species of Irukandji jellyfish, and other cubozoans. The condition is seldom fatal, but if immediate medical action is not taken, within only 20 minutes the victim could go into cardiac arrest and die.
