Purpose?[edit]
What is his purpose? He has a name, he's in the middle of nowhere and he doesn't appear to do anything (unless he's part of a quest I've done and forgotten about). Does he simply exist as a reference to something? It's not like ArenaNet to place named NPCs in locations simply to make the world more realistic and increase flavour and lore. 58.110.140.218 22:51, 13 July 2010 (UTC)

- He just seems to be there to help you kill the Butler during Halloween.
- I wonder why he mentions Hollis though, because Gariol is from Kryta and Hollis is from Ascalon, and I think Hollis remained behind in Ascalon. --124.82.63.99 13:27, 29 October 2015 (UTC)
