Probably to modify[edit]

Maintained enchantments do NOT continue to be maintained! Tried on various heroes, with naturally the skills deactivated and managed by myself using Shift + Click.

For example using renovation, immédiatly after the " Mad King's Influence " effect, all pips of health regeneration disappear in the HP bar and the icons under the builds too, except for Unyielding Aura which is absolutely useless to help with the quest...

An error more or a bug or i do not know what to create once more confusion and doubt! Guildwars, seven and a half years... Pffffeeewwww !!!(88.179.100.165 19:18, 30 October 2012 (UTC))

Heroes cannot keep the maintained enchantments. At all. The same would apply for henchmen and summons if you were to bring any with maintained enchantments. (e.g. a hero with Unyielding Aura that also cast Mending on itself would lose both enchantments when MKI takes effect).
Humans on the other hand keep both self-maintained enchantments such as Blessed Aura, and ally-targeted enchantments such as Mending. (e.g. I cast Unyielding Aura and Mending on myself, as well as casting Mending on a hero, MKI takes effect - and I would keep both enchantments on myself as well as the enchantment on the hero. I would have my energy regeneration set to +4.)
Summary: if you want bonds on your heroes, you should bring any wanted enchantments on your own bar. I'd also cautiously recommend bringing BiP to allow you to put 2 maintained enchantments on every player. Chieftain Alex 17:38, 30 October 2012 (UTC)
Further testing shows that heroes can keep Illusion of Weakness - I've assumed it follows the same mechanics as the dervish permanent enchantments. Chieftain Alex 17:46, 30 October 2012 (UTC)
"Maintained enchantments will continue to be maintained by players (but not heroes)"
"This page was last modified on 30 October 2012, at 17:46"
This precision did not exist before I deposit my comment....(88.179.100.165 19:18, 30 October 2012 (UTC))
Obviously because I saw your comment and corrected the page. (correcting an error does not insult you :p)138.38.60.10 12:13, 31 October 2012 (UTC)
Tested and what 88.179.100.165 said about Unyielding Aura being a maintained enchantment that is not removed from heroes is true. So similar to Illusion of Weakness, heroes continue to maintain Unyielding Aura probably because it's a maintained enchantment that cannot target another ally. Didn't test Blessed Aura, Divine Boon nor Healer's Covenant, but (unlike Unyielding Aura, which will resurrect an ally when it ends) those maintained enchantments wouldn't be useful even if they weren't removed from heroes, since the Mad King's Influence skill bar doesn't have any Monk enchantments, Protection Prayers, Divine Favor nor Healing Prayers spells. --Silver Edge 06:35, 1 November 2012 (UTC)

Command rank[edit]

Mad King's Influence provided 10 Command rank last year, but there's no Command rank this year.
