WTB buff[edit]

- I agree - it can be maintained with Glyph of Renewal but that burns your elite. TBH, anything can be maintained with various skill recharge elites. Alternately, a +20 enchant and Glyph of Swiftness at R16 lasts about 30s giving 30s downtime.
Lets compare two similar skills: Magnetic Aura and Whirling Defense
Magnetic Aura Energy 5 Cast 1/4 (1 sec due to aftercast delay) Recharge 60s Affects Melee Only Additional Effects: none. Duration (R16): 21sec Recharge Synergy: skill recharge Elites (Glyph of Renewal, Oath Shot, etc). (also Master of Magic casters use it for a recharging spell)
Whirling Defense Energy 10 Cast 0 Recharge 60s Affects All Attacks Additional Effects (R16): 11 damage to adjacent foes when taking ranged damage. Duration (R16): 21s Recharge Synergy: "On Your Knees!" warrior non-elite or skill recharge Elites.
QED, for 5 energy (not counting expertise discount) you buy an un-interruptible and un-Daze affect-able, instant, all attack blocking, conditionally damaging skill that synergies with a non-elite (as seen in some R/W Stance Tank builds).
Really, this and Swirling Aura (Shields Up! is MUCH more useful - 50% block + 24 armor for earshot, 30s recharge but a few less seconds) need work, or the nerf bat needs to be used on a lot of other skills. Add an armor buff, decrease recharge, make vs attacks, heck even 100% block for, say, 4-10 seconds or something like absorbs X amount of damage. Really, I've only seen these two skills on MoM caster builds, and those have pretty much died out. --Falseprophet 22:13, 1 February 2008 (UTC)
Reduce recharge[edit]
60 seconds is too much for this lame skill --The preceding unsigned comment was added by User:Mrmoe (talk).
Clarify the PAGE[edit]
so which is it? deal damage, or reflect damage? and do YOU deal it? as implied by the non consice desc or does the enchantment do it? --The preceding unsigned comment was added by 70.64.118.20 (talk).
