- Not even close to everything drops rubies. It's been confirmed by Lindsey, and for one of many examples, of all of the millions of raptor nestlings that have been killed, none have ever been noted to drop a ruby or sapphire. This old, old myth has unfortunately hurt research into what exactly does drop them. Manifold 15:21, 23 December 2010 (UTC)
