Talk:Mark of Subversion

This skill would have much more potential for necromancer main classes if it only had a faster casting time. It would give necromancers an interrupt besides Spinal Shivers or Shivers of Dread. --The preceding unsigned comment was added by User:70.177.103.214 (talk).

Nah, I think the casting time is fine, although the recharge time is a little high for my liking. — Eloc 09:09, 21 March 2008 (UTC)
ya, recharge is the only problem here. but on the other hand, they'd have to buff Shame too then. - Y0_ich_halt Have a look at my page 12:37, 21 March 2008 (UTC)
No, they didn't. Energy management is more worth then loss of life. And our F.A.M.s have some similar spells in addition. Noctarch 21:45, 30 June 2008 (UTC)

Note?[edit]

What is considered a targeted spell? If I target a Destroyer of Hope, and use Mystic Regeneration, does it count as a targeted spell that target a ally of mine? Could anyone enlighten me? F. C. Sauër 15:40, 1 November 2009 (UTC)

Mystic Regen has to target yourself so this would not stop it. It has to be something like Word of Healing or Windborne Speed to trigger MoS. – Emmett 16:09, 1 November 2009 (UTC)
But if you use Word of Healing on yourself? Does it trigger Mark of Subversion then? Even when you target a enemy? (As far as I know, it will be cast on yourself, as you cannot use it on a enemy) F. C. Sauër 17:37, 2 November 2009 (UTC)
If it says "target (other) ally" in the description, it'll trigger MoS; if it doesn't, it won't. So, for example, Flame Djinn's Haste and Veil of Thorns won't trigger this, and things like Aura of Stability and Mend Body and Soul will. – Emmett 00:14, 3 November 2009 (UTC)
Thank you very much for enlighten me! F. C. Sauër 12:50, 21 November 2009 (UTC)

Redundant note is redundant[edit]

Not only do the regular and concise descriptions clarify that this hex triggers only on spells that target an ally of the hexed foe, but there's a note at the bottom of the page in case, for some reason, you didn't catch it the first two times mentioned! Yay!--Ph03n1x 17:49, 23 November 2010 (UTC)

The skill's description used to imply that it triggered when the hexed guy would cast a spell on one of your allies. Now that the description has changed, the note is indeed redundant. Koda User Koda Kumi UT.jpeg Kumi 17:59, 23 November 2010 (UTC)

Hero usage[edit]

I've been wondering how heroes use this, anyone have a lot of experience with this skill on a hero? I'm suspicious that they might end up using this on warriors just as much as monks and ritualists, but can't tell straight away.K2K 02:40, 11 January 2011 (UTC)
