I may be too late to get this miniature, but I just saw the article in PC Gamer (from 2006). I bought the Collector's Edition of Nightfall, so when I type /special or /bonusitems (as the ad in PC Gamer says), the game tells me that I already have collected my miniature (Varesh) or my toy. - The Miniature Gray Giant comes from the key found in certain PC Gamer magazines (such as the one you had), completely seperate from the actual NF campaign (other than the fact the quest to get it is in NF). I could be mistaken in my understanding though, in that, you are possibly stating that the two miniatures are conflicting with eachother. -- Txzeenath 06:39, 3 September 2007 (UTC)
- When you type /special, does it say "You have previously created the 'Broken Toy' special item? As that is what you need to do the gray giant quest. You should be able to do both, they are not mutually exclusive. If you do not get the message then you have not added the grey giant key correctly perhaps? --Lemming

- It looks like I had to add the Access Key to my account before using /special. However, the key is odd. Instead of 5 blocks of 5 characters, it has a single character and then 5 blocks of 5 chars. There's no way I can enter the first character. When I try the code without the first character, it says the access code is already in use (error 103). Ps2goat 02:53, 18 September 2007 (UTC)
- I know this is a somewhat old comment, but I had the same problem. I simply provided Anet support with a picture of the physical magazine page, the code itself, and explained my situation. After one or two back-and-forth messages, I was provided with the key on my account. I believe the gray giant miniature was re-ran in another article due to this error, but not everyone got the second copy of course. -- Txzeenath 19:01, 6 October 2007 (UTC)

Is it still possible to purchase one of the magazines that contained the key to get this mini? --Musha

- If you can find a magazine from 2006 with a code in it that hasn't been used, then I would bet it would work. Good luck on finding one though. --Rainith 20:59, 12 May 2010 (UTC)
