Me too. There was initially a coding error that gave loads of them from a minimal amount of tickets. It was about, I believe, 10% chance for a pig before they fixed the error. Calor (t) 19:34, 22 January 2008 (UTC)

After the update I immedietly saw people trying to buy them, it was crazy, so i flew to the newb towns and bought 3 at 5k each, I stuck one up for 100K+10E for a laugh and someone wanted it. I couldn't believe it.. i have 2 left, fingers crossed they will be worth even more in the next 24 hours. its insane! XianDrinker

I don't think that Anet would give you a new mini for the old one without other ways to acquire it, that would be dumb, because the new mini would remove the old one from the game. I've been thinking about this and I have a feeling that 3 mini pigs will be transferable for 1 celestial rat...I reckon the celestial rat will be as popular as the pig, and the pig will end up being kinda rare, obviously taken into account that not everyone with a mini pig will be online for the event, leaving maybe about 10,000 left ingame, which isnt alot!... lol XianDrinker

Even so, the article now claims that pigs are "extremely rare"... I wouldn't call 10,000 extremely rate. "Much less common than before", perhaps, but extreme rarity is a title best reserved for Kanaxai or the Polar Bear. --Mme. Donelle 13:31, 26 February 2008 (UTC)

I can't wait to see if these become available again in 2019. I guess not if there is no update.
