Anomoly or Bug?[edit]

I was just wondering. Would referencing women as men in dialog be considered an anomoly or a bug? It would seem to me that it should be a bug, but I'm not entirely sure about that. Anyone wanna explain if I'm wrong or the article is wrong? --Elementalist-icon-small.pngTroy FrostwindRanger-icon-small.png 00:37, 23 August 2007 (UTC)

I would say its an anomoly because, when I hear bug in a game I think of something that is causing the game to run in away that it was not planned. Something like a friendly NPC becoming hostile out of the middle of now where. I say that it should stay an anomoly, because it is not altering the intended gameplay. If that makes any sense. --Sktbrd341 01:19, 23 August 2007 (UTC)
That makes sense, but I still think that unless the intended meaning is that the NPCs involved are gender-confused *shudders*, it should be a bug, no? Because when I think of anomoly, I think of something that means it is unique in one characteristic from all others in the game. I think that this would be a change in wording that was un-intended. Most likely, the NPCs were supposed to be men, but were changed to women for possible reasons (such as to keep the women-men balance). A bug does not have to be large and severely alter gameplay, correct? --Elementalist-icon-small.pngTroy FrostwindRanger-icon-small.png 01:26, 23 August 2007 (UTC)

Plot Confusion[edit]

Is this a quest made in error? I've played to this point three times and not once did I figure out why you get a Shining Blade quest before you officially defect. The only thing I can think of that would explain it is that you're playing the storyline in a fragmented sequence, and the whole The Wilds - Bloodstone Fen thing is just a sort of flashback. Can anyone clarify why this quest breaks the plot? The note on the page claims that those two missions explains things, but they only explain why you end up with the Shining Blade, not why there is a huge plot spoiler before you find that out. 86.137.70.195 19:02, 12 July 2008 (UTC)

I think it would be good if they could add a pre requirement. You should only get this quest after you have done Bloodstone Fen mission. I am afraid that that wil be too much work however :).Silencio 21:48, 29 October 2008 (UTC)
Yea, they should remove the quest altogether. >.< I got really confused the first time I took that quest. It ruins the "suspension of disbelief." o.0--Mezon 00:31, 21 May 2009 (UTC)
