Talk:Natural Temper

What use is this skill? 4 reasons why it sucks.

1. First 33% boost makes it so, that 3 attacks yield 99% of another adrenaline strike instead of a full strike. 2. In 9 sec, you will throw spear 6 times which will give you extra 2 adren. Well 1.98 to be exact. And you lose 1 adren from all adren pools when activating this skill, so that gives you a total of 1 extra strike of adrenaline. 3. New FGJ has 100% bonus 4. Doesn't work if enchanted, which makes crap skill even worse.

1. It's spammable 2. It's not a stance so u can put IAS 3. Paragons usually don't carry enchantments. But, yes, this need buff to atleast to +50% more adrenaline... FGJ totally owns this, but if u r not going for warrior 2ndry, maybe after a little buff...

FGJ has a downtime (although definitely FGJ is better than this), this can be maintained, also you could use Aggressive Refrain to further increase the adren gain. Btw, this needs a buff, maybe in duration AND removing the enchantment thing. PD: sign your comments ^^. - Rayd 12:47, 18 November 2007 (UTC)
Agreed, it does suck. Raptaz 14:02, 6 December 2007 (UTC)
lol, this is not maintainable without an IAS. As above, in 9 sec you only gain 2 adr, while this takes 3. That means basically you have 2 skills on your bar so that you can gain +33% adrenaline for as long as the IAS lasts. FGJ would probably have just as good down time as your IAS.Crimmastermind 09:53, 20 September 2008 (UTC)

agreed on the 33% to 50%. Instead of not working while enchanted, make it remove 1 or even all enchantments on you. What i would be overjoyed with is:

  • 4 adren
  • Every hit +50-100% adren
  • Removes all enchantments/Cannot be the target of further enchantments.
  • lasts 5-10seconds

If your monks cant cast enchantments on you, your puting yourself at risk and since this cant be removed....Consider it a frenzy like skill in that it drops your defenses for a benefit--Justice 09:04, 2 October 2008 (UTC)

How about Soldier's Fury + this. +66 more adrenaline ain't so bad.77.70.60.74 12:28, 14 October 2008 (UTC)
Note that because this is +33%, three hits give you 3 strikes + 99% of an extra strike which isn't rounded up... tested it with "TPiY!" to see if I could make a good battery build and it still takes 4 hits to charge it, meaning Natural Temper is essentially useless (for that build). :-(. I guess it could be handy for things with bigger costs, though. Maybe.
There are other ways to gain adrenaline than attacking. User Raine R.gif is for Raine, etc. 05:31, 29 October 2009 (UTC)
Little late in this catagory, but if you look at the Adrenaline page, you'll see that adrenaline isn't measured in strikes, so this DOES make a difference for some skills 86.80.183.215 20:37, 21 June 2010 (UTC)

Well seeing how IF you're playing a paragon you should have a furious spear, at least in your weapon sets. So after the first time you use it, it should take an average of 2 hits to recast which would make it perfectly maintainable right?

Better with an Energy Cost[edit]

If this skill cost 5e instead of 3 adrenaline, it would be a useful alternative to Aggressive Refrain for defensive-orientated Paragons, who aren't too bothered about doing damage (so don't need the extra IaS), but don't want to have a gimped adrenaline income (afterall IaS also increases your adrenaline gain by a good margin). Currently you still have to bring Aggressive Refrain or Soldier's Fury even when going full Motigon or whatever (despite how, due to lack of defensive skills you really can't excuse the -20AL, and having to bring a Chant that can refresh it really gimps the flexibility of your bar) else your Adrenaline income isn't fast enough to keep your skills powered.

And yeah I realise there is Flurry for these Paragons, but that forbids taking a secondary for utility (which, if you were defensively-focused only you'd definetly want for some half-decent hex removal or whatever), plus Flurry is a total energy whore due to it's short length and so partially defeats the purpose of bringing an adrenaline booster in the first place.

Of course, the "no effect while enchanted" thing would have to go, but could be replaced with "no effect while under an echo" to prevent it stacking with Aggressive Refrain. 82.11.226.30 18:28, 19 January 2012 (UTC)
