Talk:Paper Wrapped Parcel/Drop rates

Using Argos Soft for current prices and assuming that drop rates for each item across the board is 5 %; the value of one Paper Wrapped Parcel is between 5500 and 6000 gold. The price estimates for each item was taken 2012-04-01 so any inflation after "Annihilator 2: Searing Day" is not accounted for. I'm too lazy to make a spreadsheet so someone else will have to do that.

That is true, however remember that these quests are only attainable one day every year.

There is also the problem of only being able to get 4 of these per character, and then you have to get very far in the storyline, so "farming" these by creating characters is just a waste of time. Even though the supply of materials needed (Birthday Cupcake, Drake Kabob, Hard Apple Cider, 3 Honeycombs) can be farmed and inflated, the parcels themselves should be much less affected. The value of the ingredients may inflate, but the parcels themselves should be less affected. Then there is also the fact that you need to complete the scavenger hunt to begin WiK, and if you can only do it once you'd probably prefer these over the sacks of junk. But only time will tell! :)
