The Party Search panel is a feature added to the game with the December 20, 2006, game update. It allows players to search for a party to join ("LFG"), or for other playing to join their party ("LFM") for quests and missions.
- If an already acquired Hero is unable to be recruited for any reason, double clicking the Hero's name will not allow the Hero to be added to the party.

Bug warning[edit]
I took the liberty of removing the underscore bug because it was fixed. Alreajk 18:52, 2 May 2007 (EDT)
Chat shortcuts[edit]
Perhaps it would be relevant to document the chat keywords that trigger a party search entry and maybe also the character limit for the party search description? Sigil Baram talk
- 1) 31 characters is the limit. That's covered in the Player paragraph.
- 2) I know that wtb and wts will both trigger auto moving to the trade chat
- This was covered in the update, but i'm not sure of the link right now. Will try to locate and repost.Dreamer n kansas 06:18, 7 February 2009 (UTC)
How do you type more than 31 characters?[edit]
I've seen some people do it. Here's an example screenshot for proof: http://www.mediafire.com/convkey/e9e4/a5sim36y0x3l56efg.jpg?size_id=8
- only 31 characters of that string will appear in the party search panel - the rest will be truncated and will not appear. you do this by typing more than 31 characters :p -2.223.237.28 20:10, 10 March 2014 (UTC)
- I've tried typing more than 31 characters, and I've tried to Ctrl+C/V (copy and paste a string that's longer than 31 chars) too, but it still doesn't work.
- learn to indent please. also sign your signature with four tildes.
- what I'm trying to say is the message that appears in local chat will be longer than the text displayed in the party search box. It just gets (party search) stuck on the end of the text because the truncated form is appearing in the party search listings. -2.223.237.28 22:53, 10 March 2014 (UTC)
