incomplete monsters and bosses info[edit]

Well, I read the formatting stuff for explorable areas, but my information is too incomplete to put anything up, so I'll just list the stuff here and someone can add in the stuff later. Not sure if there is a formatting thing for the talk page also, but eh... if there is, just use my talk page to yell at me =P Remember folks, this is all sketchy information that I wrote down on a notepad. the monsters are only recorded if they drop something... and if i remember them. if anybody wants to add to this or edit it, feel free!

For Flesh golem I used Flesh Golem (creature), as it is the best version that fits in my opinion. - MSorglos 14:08, 6 May 2007 (EDT)
yeah, but since neither of them have pages, it really throws me off. but ill put that from now on.--Zemmy 14:13, 6 May 2007 (EDT)

Im removing the note saying the best way to cap the golems and phantoms is to run to first mob and check...its just takes way too much time doing that compared to simply clearing your way from that first mob around the outer edge of the island since that is where all those bosses spawn anyhow. maybe once apon a time when prophecies was actually hard i could see that being quicker.--Justice 18:50, 25 April 2008 (UTC)

ok i decided to just reword the best with easy. Ive used this method on my survivor and it was at least easy. Added line at end saying it could be first run or several runs. Im not sure if any one else has ever had the problem of incorrect bosses spawning again and again and again and again. I almost always have that problem with the ss, iw, signet of judgement, mist form boss outside camp rankor--Justice 18:59, 25 April 2008 (UTC)

Hard Mode[edit]

Vanquished with 220 foes. H&H with no deaths whatsoever. The buff/nerf to Lingering Curse really makes this are a breeze, especially since flesh golems do almost nothing for damage outside of death nova. I was aggroing two and three groups of them just to speed things up and it wasn't a problem. Before the skill change those things made me a little nervous even in normal mode because the enchantment strip made proting useless and healing was very difficult. Had to be very careful not to aggro any hydras because of that. Now....pfft. Try to avoid doing that, but it's not even worth worrying about if it would require any real effort.

Still, this is IMO one of the best areas in the game. Scenery is beautiful in a weird sort of way and the area still requires you to think about what you are doing. IE. is it a good idea to go this way because that patrol over there will end up flanking me if I don't kill this group fast enough. Kelvin Greyheart 23:45, 26 December 2008 (UTC)

To me Perdition Rock was one of the easiest Proph areas to vanquish. Did it my first try with no trouble at all. Nothing compared to Kessex Peak, Lornar's Pass and others. Arshay Duskbrow 04:02, 27 December 2008 (UTC)
Kessex peak was relatively easy for me. Just made sure to pull a really long ways, and use rocks and stuff for the henchies to hide behind. Lornar's was annoying, but really only had problems with some of the huge groups of crones Entered with ~10-20% DP, and ended with a little on the one hero. Hardest areas in proph are imo, Ice Floe (post change to thunderclap/lightning orb(henchmen are stoopud)), and Dreadnaught's Drift (surprisingly the large groups of Tundra Giants weren't a problem.. Kelvin Greyheart 04:45, 27 December 2008 (UTC)

Ice Floe, Kessex Peak, Eastern Frontier (effing grawl) and i havnt vanqed it yet but probably twin serpent lakes. This area was easy since i took gwen and set her all interupts (cry and tease go along way). I got myself into one spot where I aggroed multiple patrols of phantoms...talking like 15-20 of the bastards. Fortunetly they do no serious dmg beyond Cry which did hurt when they would spike with it. With so many bosses, death penalty would be gone wrather quickly and I was able to enjoy +10 quite often. 1hr 10min. Justice 02:46, 11 January 2010 (UTC)

gotta love prophecies boss spawns...[edit]

we (2 human monks) entered here with 2 cap signets each to cap some monk elites. 1 of 3 monk bosses spawned, and i already had that elite =/ --83.76.208.68 21:07, 27 March 2010 (UTC)

Final Blow Drake Spawns[edit]

The note on this page and each subpage of the Drake bosses in Perdition Rock may not be accurate. I just ran through Final Blow and found all three spawn points active. Perhaps the person who edited just had bad bad luck (as in some cases the drake boss will be replaced by normal drakes). In any event, I can confirm with screenshots if need be. Will edit accordingly. --Axis 01:11, 30 September 2010 (UTC)

Ettins[edit]

they wanted to use THIS very rock to kill king thorn. --92.106.72.25 18:55, 26 October 2010 (UTC)

"Including quest influences..."[edit]

Uh. How can there be quest influences on the monsters required to vanquish when the only quest in the area MUST be completed before HM is even unlocked? --Lurio Mystras | talk 20:40, 14 November 2011 (UTC)

Hard Mode is unlocked on an account basis. It would be possible to enter Hard Mode (and vanquish Perdition Rock) on a given character prior to that particular character completing the quest. -- FreedomBoundUser Freedom Bound Sig.png 22:15, 14 November 2011 (UTC)

spawn bug[edit]

Vanqing[edit]

226 foes, 38min. Lots and lots of fire elementalist and mesmer foes on this map. If you are a martial profession then you will hate the signet of midnight spam. Take antidote signet or sight beyond sight. Not even my -40% blind gear was chopping it down enough. Casters are going to hate all the cry of frustration spam. take really short cast stuff or bring interrupt protection. The fire eles on this map require some good tanking or party wide damage mitigation. A few good interrupts go along way too. Baiting out lava font and meteor shower before engaging directly with the rest of the party can work too. Justice (talk) 04:12, 17 May 2018 (UTC)
230 foes, 33min. Imbagon is op and I am running "cant touch this!" to mitigate signet of midnight. Some areas have so many phantasms that they still overpower the shout though. Justice (talk) 09:46, 2 December 2019 (UTC)
