OK so I don't know if this is the best place to post this but do you increase the poison duration by 33% whilst you are USING Apply Poison with a bow with a Poisonous string equipped? Or do you have to have fired the arrow itself from a bow with a Poisonous bow string? Thanks. --Combatter 16:07, 17 October 2009 (UTC)

Upgrades are applied after skills. So if you cast Poison Arrow with a non-poisonous bow, and it would normally last 10 seconds, and then you switch out to a poisonous bow, you'd still have 10 seconds of poison, not 13. Moo Kitty 16:37, 17 October 2009 (UTC)

Thanks. But I was wondering specifically with the preparation Apply Poison, whether the +33% poison bonus from a poisonous bow string is taken into account when the preparation skill is used OR when an arrow is fired from the bow whilst the preparation is in effect. One of my guildies has told me its the latter but I was wondering whether anyone could confirm/deny this? Cheers --Combatter 19:09, 17 October 2009 (UTC)

LONG VERSION:Poisonous bowstrings, or poisonous anything for that matter, are applied to skills/attacks that inflict poison used when it is equipped. Apply Poison does not inflict poison, it makes your attacks inflict poison.
