The joke

Hi everyone. What’s the deal with joke in English? Let’s make a deal: I tell you the the German one and you tell me the English. The German one is a pun: What does a man do with a dachshund without legs? He [pulls the dog|walks] around the neighbourhood. --numma_cway 21:52, 2 February 2013 (UTC)

Well the English one isn't particularly funny, its a combination of anti-climax + stating the obvious.. i.e. snakes have no hands, and so cannot shake hands, but the joke is that it just doesn't want to. (not ha-ha funny) -Chieftain Alex 00:10, 3 February 2013 (UTC)
