Uh, care to explain where the name Chiizu dance came from? Ky kekeke 17:28, 21 July 2009 (UTC)
- From Chiizu. Misery 17:32, 21 July 2009 (UTC)
- He didn't discover the technique, but he's known for ALWAYS quarterstepping. is for Raine, etc. 04:14, 2 July 2010 (UTC)
- He made it popular and was pretty much the only one to talk about it. He also wrote a pretty big guide on how2warrior on qq forums, and I think it was in that as well. -Auron 04:18, 2 July 2010 (UTC)
Definition of term is obscure, article needs significant clarifying and improvement. --Slavic 11:15, 2 May 2011 (UTC)
- ...are you serious? — Raine Valen 21:19, 2 May 2011 (UTC)
- Yes! Quarterstepping takes advantage of the fact that, after each attack, there is a short period during which a character has not started their next attack, but is still able to move. (rev. 2 July 2010)
- Look at this sentence from point of unprepared reader who needs to understand, what the Quarterstepping is. I doubt that this phrase is a good answer, if it's an answer at all. Phrase is long, has a logical sequence of conditions, not easy to understand at first reading. Reader might expect something like "Quarterstepping is... (definition)", when a term is explained first, not used like it's already known.
- Compare to rev. 2 May 2011: Quarterstepping is a tactic used to gain positional advantage without suffering a loss in overall attack speed. Better after TEF's edition, right? --Slavic 07:56, 3 May 2011 (UTC)
