There are three or four 'Sthairsons' or 'Sthairdottirs' standing about in EotN. Rudja is the only female, I think. You've also got Ivan Sthairson in Norrhart Domains, the same area as Rudja. Then, in Varajar Fells, you've got one or two more 'Sthairs' standing at shrines. Is there any background information on this? In norn culture doing it with inanimate objects such a stairs is acceptable, that would explain this.
