Items Dropped[edit]

Manifold: If generic items aren't listed, then Giant's Boots should be removed as well since they're no different to any other apparel dropped by foes. They're neither a Quest item nor a collector Trophy, but just an ordinary foe armor drop for salvage or sale. Outcast Boots are directly equivalent, and they're not listed as drops for any Outcast foe either. It seems we have a consistency problem, different contributors are applying different rules. Salvage items should always be included. We don't have any data on Outcast Boots as to which particular outcast drops boots - and we're not assuming all of them.. File:User Chieftain Alex Chieftain Signature.jpg Chieftain Alex 13:03, 21 February 2012 (UTC)
Right, by generic I (and the guidelines) mean weapons that drop all over a campaign(s), or in specific regions, or from most/all enemies of a profession. Type/family/army/species/whatever we call it-specific drops are documented. I have probably 90% or more of hostile foes on my watchlist and they're very consistent with these guidelines. I do wish we kept better track of every single weapon a specific enemy could drop, to better understand the drop system, but I understand it was done this way to avoid huge lists of (to most people) uninteresting information.
