Does the energy drain still apply if your target casts a spell on him/herself? Jimbob1178 17:08, 13 May 2008 (UTC)
- If it's a spell that says it targets allies in its description, it'll trigger no matter who you target. If it's something that can only target you it's not gonna trigger. So it only has an effect on Monks, Healing Ritualists and a few other professions. Ninjas In The Sky 16:28, 14 May 2008 (UTC)
- Those few others being mesmers, dervishes, elementalists and necromancers. But then again, that's only every caster class in the game except for assassin. Paddymew 09:47, 10 July 2009 (UTC)

- ... on second look I see what you meen, the concises and the full description are a bit unclear... I'm trying to recall but I think that Shame would stop a spell cast on one of your allies, with no effect if it was cast on their ally... MrPaladin talk 14:44, 17 September 2009 (UTC)
- This skill causes the target enemy's next targetted buff spell to fail. This includes any spell that directly enchants, heals, protects and/or removes ill effects. 84.9.120.230 23:10, 20 October 2009 (UTC)
