Do we need a note about stackability?

Is the stackable note needed as the Bear Pelts found in Pre are also stacking as are the Poisonous Stingers.Dakota 11:14, 10 May 2011 (UTC)

I believe the note was included because most quest items are not stackable. Not very noteworthy, as you still need only one of these, but... Strange things can happen in Pre. 62.197.173.242 11:40, 10 May 2011 (UTC)

Which are the quest items that don't stack because as well as these the other one that springs to mind are the shells required for the NF quest, I guess there's the "Beautiful" items however that's 3 items that are all for 1 quest where as all of the others are for separate quests.Dakota 16:05, 10 May 2011 (UTC)

I boldly removed the note: many quest items stack; many do not. This seems to bear little relationship to how many you need for the quest: sometimes you need more than one and they don't stack; sometimes you need only one and they do.

The fact that the Shimmering Scale is stackable is included in the infobox; the fact that you only need one is covered in the description (as well as on the relevant quest page). So, it doesn't seem especially noteworthy that you need only one and yet you can stack it. — Tennessee Ernie Ford (TEF) 16:35, 10 May 2011 (UTC)
