Happy Birthday![edit]

Reason of undo[edit]

I undone 3 versions of edits on the talk page for Candy Cane Shards. The reason for this was that drop research on this item is very useless, due to the fact that it's dropped by all NPC's in the game. --FelixProjectUser-FelixProject Avatar.jpg 05:38, 28 December 2009 (UTC)

As do lockpicks/tomes when in HM, are you gonna remove all the drop research from that page too. If an item drops then there are going to be people interested in drop rates in certain areas/species/whatever compared to other places and/or drops. There are several comments here Guild Wars Wiki talk:Formatting/Items/A1 indicating that theres generally no issue with noting drops for these kinds of items --Dakota 05:54, 28 December 2009 (UTC)
We might as well. The only thing about those worth noting is the drop rates, not the particular monsters they drop from. Currently, nobody is working on a TreasureClass research project. ~Shard User Shard Sig Icon.png 06:18, 28 December 2009 (UTC)
Well I'm not entirely sure what you mean by a TreasureClass research project but I'm planning on adding as much new data to drop research sections as I can and working on improving those sections. --Dakota 06:27, 28 December 2009 (UTC)

Reward Chest Drops[edit]

I checked your project out, and you have my full support! Do you think the same standards might be applied to the reward chest drop sections as well? I did my best cleaning them up a while ago, but they could still use some sprucing up. Only problem I see is that it's not clear at-a-glance who contributed what drops. This would mean the section should be patrolled regularly for vandalism, but since I'm already watching those pages anyway, it shouldn't be too much of a problem.
I'll do my best to bring the drop pages I encounter up to your standards. Thanks for taking the initiative! --Threid Threid's talk page 09:07, 2 January 2010 (UTC)

Thanks for the support. Currently people have been added chest to the lists just like any other enemy, but some of the chest pages also have seperate lists. I think its better to list all drops on the item page for actual enemies then you can look for the item you want and decide where's best for you to get it. However with chests I think it should be listed on both pages as you may just want to find where an item is available (as with enemies) or you may want to know the drops from a certain chest.
As for contributions, it won't be immediatley apparant who added what but the data will be on the history page. I left the contribution column out mainly to allow us to track how often certain items drop without out added a whole new row to the table each time. Dakota 12:14, 2 January 2010 (UTC)
After further thought, I agree: The contribution column is not necessary. The looks a whole lot cleaner without it. I'll place further discussion on the project talk page. --Threid Threid's talk page 19:52, 2 January 2010 (UTC)

I see that you are not active in wiki for at least half a year. I came to notify you that will be listing you as an inactive contributor to this project. User Yoshida Keiji Signature.jpg Yoshida Keiji talk 15:36, 14 May 2012 (UTC)
