I dont understand how this skill is as godly as so many say... fear my spreading 8dps? 23:14, 24 January 2008 (UTC)

Fear you spreading 8*8 is 64 DPS which is just about unremovable. Combine with a minion bomber build like the old Heroway did. Dragnmn talk cont 17:37, 22 March 2008 (UTC)
How do you get 8*8? Is that from one party member being attacked by all eight enemies? Or each party member being attacked by a different enemy? Raine Valen 20:18, 30 August 2008 (UTC)
Not 64, 16 DPS. But still, it is a pretty tough degen as far as conditions go. Doubled with the likes of poison or burning, as long as there's some damage happening, it can be useful. It's not like people are making "TAINTED FLESH GANKSMEN BUILD GOGOGO!!!" groups. Xiao
I think the intended damage output was 8 damage per second (4 pips of degen times 2 health per second per pip) times 8 party members (melee attackers plus anyone near those attackers). That'd be 64 damage per second. The "just about unremovable" is probably because as soon as you remove it from someone, they catch it again from someone else. --RoyHarmon 15:48, 31 October 2008 (UTC)

this plus withering auro makes a very interesting tank build. 70.3.6.178 08:33, 31 March 2008 (UTC)

i wonder...[edit]

Look closely at the bosses that SoC this...

Notice something?

They are all non-humans.

why this matters?

So they dont disease their own team.Simples.--Neil2250 User Neil2250 sig icon4.jpg. 00:54, 22 November 2009 (UTC)

The ally do also get immune to disease, and I think the AI use to keep it up on the whole team, so they are probably immune to disease anyway. --Toroquin User Toroquin Toro icon.png 21:28, 13 June 2010 (UTC)

umm[edit]

Can I delete the second note with disease removing ? I mean cmon guys, IMUNE means they never get it and cant HAVE it. It is stated indirectly that it removes Disease. Magnum 13:04, 27 January 2011 (UTC)

The note is helpful, so I do not see any reason not to have it. Other games have different approaches for immunity to conditions (FF12 comes to mind) so it is not that straight-forward. Koda User Koda Kumi Horns1.GIF 13:51, 27 January 2011 (UTC)
There uve got a point, even if I dunno what ff12 is :) Magnum 16:27, 27 January 2011 (UTC)

Some immunity-conferring skills specifically mention removing existing conditions; this one does not. It's not the most critical piece of info, but it's still noteworthy IMO. Let's leave the note as is, at least until we have a consensus that it should be removed. Also, if we do remove it, we should be consistent and remove similar notes from other skills.  — Tennessee Ernie Ford (TEF) 16:47, 27 January 2011 (UTC)
There's literally NO point in removing a note like that because it's still helpful. It's not like it's a crime against humanity to have an extra note or 2 that might not be completely necessary. Pjwned 19:45, 27 March 2011 (UTC)
It's merely a crime against legibility to include more notes than necessary. Based on the feedback, not everyone sees this as useful. In the case of something borderline, as I've suggested, it's reasonable to leave the note in unless there's strong consensus to remove it.  — Tennessee Ernie Ford (TEF) 20:04, 27 March 2011 (UTC)
