- Yeah, I just went back without a Wanted quest active and having beaten WiK, but I still get the tents in the SW corner. Not sure what else I can do to try to get the original TW back. Did you fight bosses and stuff? My version had no bosses in. 78.149.2.39 17:08, 2 June 2011 (UTC)

- My character recently acquired the War in Kryta quest in Lion's Arch but didnt do anything on it yet. It cannot be abandoned. And guess? No update on the quest log after the VQ for me, so no rewards. Dammit. I hate bugs. Disconnect 17:26, 2 June 2011 (UTC)
- Same here. I completed VQ with finished WiK, no white mantle spawns and no bounties active. There were still tents in the SW corner but otherwise a normal map but otherwise a normal map. I didn't get credit for completed quest. 178.22.219.230 17:36, 2 June 2011 (UTC)
- I did this as well, although I went with other people who looked like one or more had WiK quests open (not the normal spawns outside of ToA, Shining Blade/Mantle stuff instead), yet the VQ had the normal tents setup etc. but there were bosses killed in the area, and upon finishing I got no reward either. Do I have to do it again or are ANet gonna pay up for a legit VQ? 120.29.33.69 17:40, 2 June 2011 (UTC)
- What the heck is going on, I vanquished it and it didnt update. I have finished WiK and none of them are in the area, i have the screenshot to prove. The area vanquished fine without quest updating. I do however sitll have ebon vanguard allies in my log because i have done WiK and the game got confused between the story arc update was added. ITs odd because ive vanquished the area as normal...so it should recognise it anyway. So am i understanding War in kryta version, normal version and there is also a post war in kryta version of the map? What is going on... --Smithy-Star

- Having the same issue. VQ'd a post WiK Talmark. Go to Embark Beach for my copper but, to paraphrase the words of Willie Wonka "I get NOTHING!". After mapping back to LA it's now showing a red helmet. What a fappin cockup!. Spax 18:13, 2 June 2011 (UTC)

Ok further to this I've just run out to Talmark and it's now reporting itself as unvanquished. It's gone from a cockup to a fuckup. Spax 18:17, 2 June 2011 (UTC)
- The appearing-unvanquished thing is a separate bug; the two versions of TW are vanquished separately, and the icons are on top of each other on the map, and which one comes on top isn't always the same. You should still have credit for your title. 78.149.2.39 18:35, 2 June 2011 (UTC)

- Looks like we have 2 separate bugs - I got the vanquish, and the map toggles between red and gold icon, but the zaishen vanquish quest never completed. I have completed WiK, but I did have a single bounty for a different zone active. At this point, I'm abandoning the zaishen vanquish quest, I don't care enough to do it all over again and I've got the vanquish for my titles now.
- It seems the same bug that lack of Nicholas the Traveler in TW some time ago: developers forgot that TW has 3 different instances: normal, WiK and post-WiK. Nicolas has been fixed on next day, I hope that the same will be now. --Slavic 21:57, 2 June 2011 (UTC)
- Yes, a bug has been fixed with the second update, I vanquished TW again, completed a quest and got a reward. I hope that it's a permanent fix, i.e. with next occurrence of TW vanquish in long vanquishing cycle it will not have a place. --Slavic 17:42, 3 June 2011 (UTC)

Bug seems to be fixed[edit]
I finished WiK by the time this quest came up but I held off on vanquishing the area because of the bug with the quest possibly not updating, but it seems to be fixed now. I don't know if it's going to be a problem next time around or not but if you've held off on doing the quest it should be safe to complete it now. New bug?[edit]
An alt did the ZV for the first time today (the alt had previously done WiK) and I noticed that the mergoyles weren't using an elite. The bog skales with them were using tainted flesh just fine, so I don't know what was up with them. I was expecting to be pblocked to death but it never happened. Anyone else seen this? (Also noted that the name is still showing red even though the vq completed and the zv quest completed, so I guess that hasn't been completely fixed yet.)--Smarty 17:16, 16 October 2011 (UTC)
