Question: Im from Australia, can i change my territory to Japan or Korea?[edit]

My latency is on average ~350 on the American servers. I find that just a bit annoying with the rubber banding, and significantly more difficult interrupts. Also, is it just me or is this latency universal? and would it make a difference if i did happen to change my territory to japan/ korea?

China[edit]

is china considered a territory or no? i remember gw was offered to china thru the9, but i don't know anything else about it. --VVong|BA 23:31, 7 January 2008 (UTC)

As I understand it, it was an extended public beta. -- Gordon Ecker 01:13, 11 April 2008 (UTC)

Korea[edit]

Should Korea be listed under former territories? It wasn't closed, just renamed to Asia. -- Gordon Ecker 01:13, 11 April 2008 (UTC)

No, as just what you said, it wasn't closed, only renamed. — Eloc 18:59, 11 April 2008 (UTC)

Accounts[edit]

In fact all of them were stored in US server even before the territory merged. And the so called Euro server (206) is also in US.--TeaCat._. User RedTeaCat TeaCat.jpg 04:17, 18 June 2010 (UTC)

Territory assignment[edit]

I want to know more about account home/territory; if and how it can be updated, and how it interacts with PvP server selection

This page says each account has a home territory
In the 2000s was that determined by place of purchase? Today, is region select one of the steps during account creation?
Can your account territory be assigned to Asia?
Are we able to manipulate account territory? Mine defaults to America which is ironically the worst server for me in terms of latency.
This is significant in PvP because server location is not determined by selecting a district. JPzoomin (talk) 22:00, 30 November 2024 (UTC)
