Talk:The Shattered Ravines

Most of the foes in the sulfur tunnels can be killed from the surface outside the tunnels if you have a good team of casters. This is a very effective way of dealing with Undead and Sandstorm Crags especially, because Undead get most of their firepower from their melees which are totally neutralized, while Sandstorm Crags just kill themselves instantly on skills like Pain Inverter. This approach is particularly useful in Hard Mode for Zaishen Vanquish, where the Junundu are comparatively weak versus the high-level foes, not to mention boring. Melee foes tend to run away out of range when they realize that they can't hit you, but once they've reset and come back into range, they're easily nuked or degened before they run away again. It's a good technique for this zone, in which most of the tunnels can be accessed from both sides. Morgaine 09:43, 14 April 2011 (UTC)

Vanquishing[edit]

The page says 300 enemies, but I killed 286. That's a bit less, methinks. Anomaly? --Sahjiarah 03:18, 23 June 2011 (UTC)

I killed about ~ 280 foes in 65 min. Overall, it's not a particularly hard vanquish. However, there is one big group w/ Uhiwi the Smoky map I believe that has 2-3 intersecting groups. The awakened Cavaliers have the, "We Will Return" rez skill which makes fighting them somewhat prolonged. If you could find some way to pull this group to land/heroes you'll have a better time. It was a long Junundu battle followed by picking up one boss group in a corner and then sweeping the SW corner and running around for some insects and a pair of giants. --LunarRXA (talk) 20:42, 10 May 2018 (UTC)
