Move[edit]

According to Guild_Wars_Wiki:Formatting/Article_names#Name priorities, this should be moved if the item has precedence over a boss. And I guess this is the case, since most players will probably look for the item first, then for the boss. Correct? -- CoRrRan (CoRrRan / talk) 00:22, 19 June 2007 (UTC)

Well, not correct, if you were to ask me. I'd imagine that people would probably be looking for the boss instead of the item. But see this comment by BeXoR, though, which proposes using the main article as a disambiguation page, pointing to the two other subarticles. Probably a good compromise. --Dirigible 00:29, 19 June 2007 (UTC)
I agree, since I don't PvE a lot, I don't know how the regular PvE player would approach the wiki with information on this. So a disambig-page will probably be the best solution. -- CoRrRan (CoRrRan / talk) 00:34, 19 June 2007 (UTC)
Funny, I'd say it's the other way around. Why would a PvP player be looking for an item that can be replicated in moments through the J menu in-game? If anything, he's looking for the boss to unlock the elite on a PvE toon, while someone buying in Lion's Arch would be looking up the stats of the item before making a deal. Mmm, speculation! --Dirigible 00:49, 19 June 2007 (UTC)
I think the average player is likely to go to a boss article by following a link from an elite skill, unique item or explorable area / mission article, while someone who sees an ad in trade for a unique item might search for the item itself. Anyway, if the article name priority changes, we can easily move it back and create a disambig page. -- [[user:Gordon Ecker|]] 23:18, 24 June 2007 (UTC)
