Talk:The Ugly Stick
Trivia[edit]
I always assumed this was named after the saying "It looks like they were beaten with the ugly stick" meaning that the person you are refering to is not the prettiest thing to grace your sight, not that the ugly stick was a real thing. I'm going to reword the note to reflect that. -- Broodling 23:06, 23 November 2007 (UTC)
why must something with such an awesome name be so lame??? =(

Fishing rod[edit]
Please do not re-add the trivia about a fishing rod. There is nothing in common other than the name! --Lania Elderfire 19:15, 17 March 2010 (UTC)
- But it's the first reference that comes up on a Google search, so it must be true! -- FreedomBound 19:17, 17 March 2010 (UTC)
- Oh yeah, like for discord must be a reference to Dischord Records--Lania Elderfire 19:23, 17 March 2010 (UTC)
I am sorry to cause agravation, but look at my example, it is much the same as changing Mark Of Rodgort's Trivia, you can not exactly proove it has to do with Trogdor. it is like if they made a skil called Diablo's Grace say a dervish running or Fire ele running skill, it could be a reference to either with the Diablo series of games, or even Lambroghini's cars. Take it for what it's worth as Trivia is Trivia. Can you proove to me that the "Look's like they were beaten with an Ugly Stick" is the actual meaning from the person who designed the weapon? --The preceding unsigned comment was added by 24.77.254.42 (talk).
- Rodgort is Trogdor spelled backwards, and have other ideas that's similar namely a reference to fire. Ugly stick has nothing in common other than your name. Your diablo reference is just weak, diablo is a reference to the devil or satan which the lamborghini's car model name is derived from. Your fictional skill is derived from the same reference that the lamborghini Diablo, and the game' name is derived from. Please remove the trivia. --Lania Elderfire 19:33, 17 March 2010 (UTC)
Well then, I am glad to see that only your thoughts on game stand, as it must be nice to know that only what you think is appropriate to be listed in Wiki. The point of TRIVIA is to be Trivial. The fishing Rod reference should stand. --The preceding unsigned comment was added by 24.77.254.42 (talk).
- I've been with the wiki for a long time and I know precedence with trivia, and this trivia information doesn't fit the bill. Also please sign by using ~~~~ and use indents properly. --Lania Elderfire 19:41, 17 March 2010 (UTC)
