Access for local characters

So how does a Canthanborn gain access to Vizunah Square Foreign Quarter? Sjeng 13:06, 25 April 2008 (UTC)

I thought it used to be possible once a Canthan completes the mission - via the Local Quarter, just by heading to the portal which would be open. However, I just did it with my last two Canthans, and the portal to Foreign was still closed. I wonder if some update changed this to be necessary to group with a Foreign born character such as access to the Local Quarter works. All my other Canthans were able to get to Foreign this way. Access to both Foreign and Local is possible for characters of the opposite inclination, regardless of who the party leader is, so long as the Welcome to Cantha and Mayhem in the Market quests are used to do so by a proper character in the party. I have done this several times with a few secondary characters both Canthan and Foreign in the last two weeks, and using heroes. As soon as these last two Canthans finish Nahpui today - I will go and retest with them to see if the portal is open and update here accordingly. HanokOdbrook 16:32, 27 April 2008 (UTC)

Test One - confirmed that Canthans CANNOT access Foreign with a Foreign character, even if both have completed the mission and the Canthan has Nahpui unlocked, but uncompleted.

Test Two - confirmed that Canthans CAN access Foreign on their own once Nahpui Mish is complete.

Test Three, in case anyone was wondering: confirmed that a Canthan who has completed Visunah Square and Augury Rock but NOT Nahpui (ie, has Ascended but not become Weh no Su) cannot access the Foreign quarter. --Mme. Donelle 18:44, 24 January 2009 (UTC)

Tested with a foreign character leading and a not ascended Canthan character in the party not yet completed 'Mayhem in the Market'. He was also able to enter the outpost with the foreign leader.--93.131.40.101 20:14, 16 April 2011 (UTC)
