Quite Long?[edit]

Took me an hour and 20 mins - i did make a point of killing two bosses, which added another 4 mobs to my path. --File:User Chieftain Alex Chieftain Signature.pngChieftain Alex 11:04, 12 July 2011 (UTC)

44 mins, no bosses killed. 82.161.39.143 08:41, 25 August 2011 (UTC)

33 mins, no prolbem.

15 seconds, wiped, ressed into mob, wiped, repeat as necissary :P Spark-TBa 20:07, 6 October 2011 (UTC)

85 minutes, 50 Honeycombs, Full Conset, 1 Powerstone --The preceding unsigned comment was added by 87.183.2.42 (talk) at 22:19, 13 May 2017 (UTC).

Delete the page?[edit]

Looking at the HM pages for the WoC it really seems like they aren't needed for most of them because all they do is list the new reward and the immediately advise you to go to the normal quest page for any helpful information; It seems like a redundant page as you can just mix the rewards as we do levels for NPCs...

i believe in an earlier page it was explained why they are seperate, something to do with the prerequisites for each quest, forcing us to have a page for each.Spark-TBa 23:16, 7 October 2011 (UTC)
I was thinking that same thought as I made comments on the normal discussion page and hard mode page; but I think it makes more sense to separate the two.--Gungraave 07:22, 27 October 2011 (UTC)

The boss[edit]

He use Meteor and Spirit Rift teared up my party. Either of them can hit over 400 damage, and I don't know why my two Mes heroes didn't interrupt him before he chain wiped our party several times.--Kgptzac 03:03, 13 February 2012 (UTC)

what the fuck thats all im gonna say.. --The preceding unsigned comment was added by 109.121.70.210 (talk) at 18:55, 13 February 2012 (UTC).

As Usual...[edit]

WoC HM is an awful, extremely frustrating, pain in the ass, grindfest. I especially love how enemies will run off and kite other mobs that were not even close to agro range of your party forcing you to try and fight 2 or 3 groups at once. Fucking bullshit. --The preceding unsigned comment was added by 99.72.195.220 (talk) at 20:15, 16 February 2012 (UTC).

Meh. the worst bit is the warriors with splinter triple chop - if you can beat those and the elementalists, you're halfway there. reisen is a piece of piss after everything on the way. File:User Chieftain Alex Chieftain Signature.jpg Chieftain Alex 12:07, 17 February 2012 (UTC)
But for some reason the groups are like 16 people big and you somehow aggro groups that are nowhere near you. Couldn't they have paced the mobs a bit? Blue Totoro 22:40, 13 April 2012 (UTC)

Disappeared?[edit]

After completing all of Winds of Change, I went to do it again in Hard Mode for Zei Ri. I tried going through this quest once or maybe twice before I racked up 60% death penalty on most of my heroes, so I map traveled to Embark Beach to get some consumables. When I came back, Xan Hei wasn't standing on his platform thing, and abandoning the quest an coming back didn't help. He's just not there anymore, and I can't progress the HM quest chain without this quest. What's going on? Blue Totoro 23:16, 13 April 2012 (UTC)

You're in normal mode. Switch back to hard mode and the npc will appear. File:User Chieftain Alex Chieftain Signature.jpg Chieftain Alex 23:30, 13 April 2012 (UTC)
Haha wow, you're right. I completely forgot that Embark Beach does that to you. Thanks, that worked. Blue Totoro 23:36, 13 April 2012 (UTC)

Suggested General Builds[edit]

Just finished this quest in HM for each profession with a 7 hero team, and I find the Jade [WoC] much harder than the related Am Fah. From my experience the keys here are lots (emphasized) of hexes, armor ignoring damage, and no conditions. Be prepared to tank (regardless of profession), precast protective spirits, and try to body block the warriors at corners. Consider putting Revealed Hex/Inspired Hex on a curses nec hero, as many of the enemy hexes are in that attribute. Had few (if any) deaths an each run, with the first group encountered the hardest (imo). Will share more specifics if requested. Lord Flynt 19:53, 5 May 2013 (UTC)

The beginning is tricky yes, multiple groups and a patrol that gets pretty close. If you keep an eye on the splinter warriors everything else is ok. -Chieftain Alex 20:05, 5 May 2013 (UTC)
