This quest is available as an immediate follow-on and continuation of the Secondary Quest Mysterious Message,initiated at Druid's Overlook and follows the meeting with Alari Doubleblade and his continuation directions. Since Hablion doesn't "die" until the Primary Quest Bloodstone Fen is finished, this quest is offered prematurely, through an "untrustworthy" source (Alari Doubleblade/Gareth Quickblade), and from a questionable location Druid's Overlook. --69.242.194.96 16:34, 4 May 2008 (UTC)

Quest Update Bug

Just finished off the third group of Mantle but the quest didn't update. A centaur group aggroed them first, however, and may killed the first Knight before I got near them. Not sure if this is perhaps the issue with the quest not updating, as noted above? Anyone else experienced anything like this? 90.211.153.67 18:07, 23 November 2010 (UTC)

Yes, I just attempted to complete this quest. I tried it twice, and both times, a centaur group aggroed one of the three groups of White Mantle before I did. In both cases, after I killed the centaurs and White Mantle, the quest did not update. Nym 03:51, 13 December 2010 (UTC)

Yes, Done this quest on 7 of my 8 Characters with no trouble, but the last one didn't update after killing the third group. All 8 Had the last group already fighting Centaurs when I reached them. Last being my Paragon from Nightfall, tho it worked fine for my Other Nightfall character and my Factions Character--92.4.30.192 13:15, 19 January 2011 (UTC)

Second try worked fine, the Centaurs were attacking the 1st Group this time, not the last group. I killed the Centaurs 1st--92.4.30.192 13:28, 19 January 2011 (UTC)

Quest Reward

Should it be noted somewhere that the "cane" rewarded for this quest, in addition to its relatively strange bonuses, has the same icon and weapon skin as the Deadly Cesta?
