Drops[edit]
Is that unique correct? I think Sessk, Woe Spreader drops it... Confirm? Shamayim Araboth ~ Ayy 02:00, 25 May 2008 (UTC)
- They can both drop it. Fall 02:01, 25 May 2008 (UTC)
- Fab, I'll update the Woe Spreader page then. Shamayim Araboth ~ Ayy 02:05, 25 May 2008 (UTC)
- (Edit conflict) yeah, this boss is seemingly a copypaste of Sessk, just like Waeng is likely one of Lou, of the Knives. (except for the fact that this one can also drop a quest item) —ZerphaThe Improver 02:06, 25 May 2008 (UTC)
Potential trivia[edit]
"The quest item, "Head of Xiriss Stickleback," is quite possibly a reference to the special item, "Head of Sss-Thsss" from the 1988 PC game, Exile I: Escape From The Pit" — (Originally added on 22:55, 8 April 2011 by User:Angel Serrenity
- I've moved the potential trivia note to the talk page because the meme, bring me the head of probably goes back farther than 1988. To name just two potential sources: Bring Me the Head of Alfredo Garcia (movie) and Salome's dancing to obtain the head of John the Baptist.
- There's no parallels between the PC game and the quest/quest dialogue to suggest more than a coincidence of Esses and Snakes. (Or, at least, I didn't see any other similarities after reviewing the Wikipedia article and a walkthrough.) — Tennessee Ernie Ford (TEF) 00:15, 9 April 2011 (UTC)
