Why not just {{#if:1|{{{1|}}}}}? See this examples (see code preview also):

Could someone put the correct category tag on this. I would, but I'm not familiar enough with all the possibilities to be sure which one is the best. mtew 02:02, 28 December 2008 (UTC)
