Here are some examples of comments your new Live Test Krewe has made so far....

First, the guy who informed us that the Live Test Krewe had been picked actually posted his email and was surprised that it might be a violation of the future NDA he was going to sign....so it got off to a good start.

Next the originator of the thread misunderstands the post of another member, accusing him of trying to get him kicked off the Live Team.

• "But nice looking out......to get me removed from the Krewe......or something......"

Then this guy gets the email and doubts it's real because it has an electronic copy of the NDA attached.

• "got the email, but the NDA already, makes me doubt it"
• "I spoke to somebody else who i knew got in and he just said to type it all in, send it back, then send the printed version later, figured he'd spoken to somebody already. Guess if not i can print it and scan etc."

And now we come to my favorite new Test Krewe member. Here are some examples of his brilliance:

• "yeah read the rules pretty much, we will see things that are not meant for everyoe to see, and we not allowed to give you guys info on it or post screens, or give details on updates."
• "well i knew i made the test krewe when i sent mine in , i talked with a gm about it ages before you could apply. And kept close watch on when i could apply. Funny thing is when i sent in my app, it was when it was gltching and you could not use capital letters or any . , ' .... and so on. i was worried about not getting picked so i msn messaged the gm, and explained things.The person told me not to worry. Just give them my app name and they will watch for it and make sure, i make the team. If you think this is wrong please dont, i give lots of imput and giev them alot of the bad things that are done in guildwars. i have never hacked or duped anything, but wheni found out how it works i relay this info to anet."
• "did not in anyway sway them by talking to them, they wanted certain type of people on the test krewe. and i was picked becuz i fit those spec's. not becuz i talk to gm's or anythign they just know i have back'd up what i know, and not just lying to make myself look like i know certain things. i know the rules and becuz of that i dont give names and never have. this game has been wonderful, and i hated seeing the game ruined due to dupers and so on. when anyone finds out about wrong doing you should report this instead of using the hack or glitch to your advantage."
• Then he posted something about nerfing Shadowform and because of Martin's post on the topic, he quickly removed all of his comments.

Here's another member who apparently also gained a spot on the Test Krewe....but he isn't really interested in it:

• "Got one too. Thought it was fake til I saw this thread. But I don't play no more so it makes no difference. lol Gz to ppl that got it. Hope you guys can help Anet out."

Now, we come to what encapsulates, in my mind, the beauty of these new Live Test Krewe choices - a quote from Martin:

• "Please print it, sign it, scan it and send back the scan. I like to point out that we can revoke invitations as quick as we can hand them out. Telling half truths in public is not helpful..."

So, there you have it people. So far, this looks like it's going to be a beautiful, long-lasting, and fruitful relationship between Live Team and Test Krewe. Karate Jesus 22:22, 21 October 2009 (UTC)
