Guild[edit]
The Smuggler's Alliance was born in august 2005, just a month after my family had discovered Guild Wars. After much debate my brother and I decided to name the guild after an organization in the Star Wars expanded universe. We settled on the Smuggler's Alliance mostly because of Talon Karrde, and the fact that he is the most interesting character throughout the Thrawn Trilogy. The guild started small, but soon grew to about two dozen members. After our first Halloween the guild began to shrink, and we didn't begin recruiting again until the release of Factions. With factions we gained a small community, including two married couples, who were a pleasure to play with. But alas, all good things must come to an end, and just before the release of Nightfall the guild disintegrated, leaving only myself, my brother, and my parents. The guild is not currently accepting new members and probably never will.
