New Alliance
Noticed your help on getting everyone's bars updated. But...you didn't change my navbar....*sniff* ;-) - Thulsey - talk 02:38, 27 March 2008 (UTC)
- Blame your superior Wiki skillz.. ;) It is because your navbar is in your own include, and I wasnt sure if you wanted to keep that, or go with the alliance wide one. --Lensor (talk) 08:05, 27 March 2008 (UTC)
Thanks and welcome to the Alliance
Thanks for the minor edit on my Page. I've been mostly resting my hand and completely forgot about my Wikipage xP!
Welcome to the GWO Alliance, btw :)! Hope you enjoy your stay..in the mental institute.. :P Player_72985 08:39, 27 March 2008 (UTC)
- No problem, and thanks for the welcome :) We are all very exited about the move! --Lensor (talk) 08:41, 27 March 2008 (UTC)

Hehe, good to know someone's paying attention to keep everything up to date. Thanks for the small edit on my page, and welcome to the alliance! Jersey 02:10 6. April 2008
Hi, Lensor. I'm looking to get my userpage made into something half-presentable (as it is right now it's baaaaaaaaasic), and yours looks really good. At the bottom I saw you mention it's okay if it gets used by others (I'll credit, of course, when it's put together on my side), but I had a couple questions.
- Your navbar has 5 chunks. If I want more or less, would I just need to adjust the perecentages and add another chunk below, like the ritualist... "header," for lack of a better word to match?
- Your navbar uses "-moz-border-radius" in the code. What's that about? I'm using Opera and can't really see what it's supposed to be doing.
Kind regards! Duminas 04:47, 1 April 2008 (UTC)
- Hey. The percentages are used to make sure all tabs are the same size even though they have different length text in them (otherwise the tabs auto adjust), so just change them accordingly. My setup does work best if you dont have too many tabs though, (too many tabs can make the bar stick over the edge of the content table) but just play around and see what happens. The "-moz-border-radius" is a mozilla-specific command that gives the boxes "rounded" edges (the px value is the radius of the rounding). You can only see this effect in Mozilla afaik (you cant see it in explorer, dont know about Opera). Good luck! --Lensor (talk) 07:40, 1 April 2008 (UTC)
my userpage
Hey, thanks for the edit.. I occasionally wonder if anyone will ever bother to change it. Of course, the problem with it now is that I have a few character pages with no details... you're forcing me into doing more work! (or just having a boringly incomplete set of character pages) Anyway, thanks for the edits. - THARKUN 05:47, 2 April 2008 (UTC)
- I was thinking of trying to eventually make some userboxes too, preferably humorous ones, so maybe this is the kickstart I need... Nice to at least see how its done now. - THARKUN 05:50, 2 April 2008 (UTC)
- Glad you like :) I didn't make the character pages because there are so many easy-to-use templates to choose from (I made my own, but if I didn't I would for sure use the one recently made by User:Scion Of Erixalimar, that one is really nice). --Lensor (talk) 07:48, 2 April 2008 (UTC)
- Oh hey, I just realized you're in my alliance. A bit slow on my part, but spiffy. — THARKUN 01:23, 9 April 2008 (UTC)

Linking Back
Hey i couldn't get the Box with the credit thing in to go in the right position on the page, could you possibly put that in at the bottom for me, i can't seem to get it at the bottom so i left it out, hope you understand MRD 23:15, 14 April 2008 (UTC) Oops forgot to sign
- Hey, sorry I havent been on the Wiki for a while. Anyways, put in the box for you. I noticed you had not ended your table with "|}", which is probably why you were having problems :) --Lensor (talk) 14:13, 26 April 2008 (UTC)
Could you please show me how to get my text, images, and colors into tabs? I'm a noob at WikiCode >_< --Risus 01:19, 16 April 2008 (UTC)
- I dont know if you still need the help (I have been away from Wiki for a while) but when I first started, I found this page very helpful: [1] It gives all the basics of how to write tables in wiki code. It is quite straight forward once you get the hang of it. :) --Lensor (talk) 14:23, 26 April 2008 (UTC)
Your userpage template
Hi, I'm new to wiki and its coding so been able to use and edit your code has been a big help in the learning process, just popping in to say thanks :) (credit given of course)-- Zen 10:13, 20 April 2008 (UTC)
Userbox for your Credit
Hello! Im Fraggy and such, modeled my page after yours :) hope you like the userbox i made out for you :P Fraggy 18:02, 25 April 2008 (UTC)
- Hey, thanks :) Although the userbox is a little misleadung, I am not at all angry, just happy that people find my userpage helpful. ;)--Lensor (talk) 14:18, 26 April 2008 (UTC)
- it was all in good fun :P In all honesty though- youve been a great help in figuring some wiki code out, but how did you get your page to line up so properly - like...on mine i wanted to make a box with color in it behind it to kind of "fit" with the navbar, but i couldnt figure it out while still keeping the infobox Lol. how did you make yours?
PS. where did you learn this stuff from?? Fraggy 02:54, 30 April 2008 (UTC)
- Just poking around at the Wiki. Whenever I see something spiffy I look at the code to see how they did it. And if I dont understand I Google it. And if I still dont understand I "fake it", i.e. just copy working code and play with it until I get the result I was looking for. --Lensor (talk) 15:21, 12 May 2008 (UTC)
One last question for the great Lensor!
so umm - if you go to my page, youll see a banner that i made in photoshop for my guild. but i want it so that if i click the banner itll take me to the guild page of the wiki, not the image
know of any way of doing that? T.I.A. Fraggy 19:30, 4 May 2008 (UTC)
- use #REDIRECT [your_guild's_page] in the image (go to the image and click the edit tab...) - Thulsey - talk 04:35, 5 May 2008 (UTC)
Request
Your /Character tables is cousing a lot of bad links on the wiki. we currently have 56 pages with links to MINIPET NAME , and so on. Could you change it to not link to the default values? Backsword 16:30, 11 May 2008 (UTC)
- I would if I could. I have no idea how to do what you ask. the MINIPET NAME etc. is to help people to fill in the template. If they fill it with "MINIPET NAME" then it will try to link there. Just as if they fill it with any other kind on nonsense. I have made the instructions a little clearer, but other than that I am not sure what I can do.--Lensor (talk) 15:17, 12 May 2008 (UTC)
- I think just removing the linking out of the example would make a big difference. Instead of [[MINIPET NAME]] it would just say MINIPET NAME. Most, if not all, users who can figure out how to use your template should also be able to figure out how to link :) And it wouldn't cause any trouble with those who just copypaste and then leave it. - anja 15:23, 12 May 2008 (UTC)
character table
Hi, I nicked your character table template some time ago, and like it very much. I am just missing a part where you can enter you're (dedicated) mini pets. I'm not that good in wiki editing, and i couldn't find it somewhere else on this wiki. I was hoping you would have something somewhere which i could use... (Or give tips how to do it) Sjel 15:25, 12 June 2008 (UTC)
- Hey Sjel, I made another characters table for you. It's at User:k00bes/Character_tables2. Hope this is what you wanted. (: KΦΦbes talk 19:43, 26 June 2008 (UTC)
Hey, I borrowed all these, just wanted to say thanks and drop you a line. Really nice, thanks, pretty much finished now (: KΦΦbes talk 19:33, 26 June 2008 (UTC)
- Hey, I used modified code from your Navbar to make my Navbar, On the navbar page itself I also gave you credit. Also I had found a better color (in my opinion) to use for ritualist text, it goes with the ritualsit color scheme a little closer. --Elven Chaos 19:22, 6 July 2008 (UTC)
- P.S. I afterwords I also used alot of code from your contributions page for my contributions page, but that should be the last of the code borrowing I do from you x.x; Also the chaos rift image I edited (and will soon go back and remove most the black in a few minutes) that I use keeps getting uploaded with the white corners as a box instead of as a circle, how do I fix this? I even removed the white in photoshop uploaded the image as a .PNG because I saw the .PNG icons for the navbars didn't have the white corners. See my Navbar to see what I'm talking about. --Elven Chaos 00:23, 7 July 2008 (UTC)
"Check This Out!"
Hey, I'm starting a news box thing that will hold events pertaining to GWW that are interesting, big, funny, or etc. Check my user page and/or the Check This Out page. Any suggestions, commentary, additions, or insights would be great! Thought you might be interested. BTW: I still have some information updating on my characters to complete but you should check out what I've done with my pages, with nav bar code and contribution code thanks to your codes for it. Thanks alot, --Elven Chaos 05:12, 9 July 2008 (UTC)
