The combination of Ranger and Assassin was sort of "lucked" into by Astraea. Without the use of runes, she couldn't get her Dagger Mastery high enough to do the same amount of damage as a typical Assassin, but Expertise and zealous daggers allow her to repeatedly pump out dagger attacks and touch skills at will. Amazingly, even with this and the low damage range on daggers, she is easily the most capable melee attacker I have. She has single-handedly saved Cantha, and now has her sights set on continuing from the Maguuma Jungle in Tyria and Kourna in Elona.
