Created by Guild:Mystical Chaos. Main developers: Pyron Sy, Foul Play Leo, Rider of Storms.

Current Version: 2.0
Works with all updates as of March 6th, 2009
These Mods are deigned to ease the burden of uncovering all the map for Legendary Grandmaster Cartographer. This was designed from the map of a Legendary Grandmaster Cartographer, and includes everything you need to match this 100% map.

The original GMC map is marked on your map in black. Your fog is colored and covers this area. As you explore, the colored fog will push toward the black areas. If you have any colored fog not covering a black area, that needs to be explored.

This overlay is visible on both the main map, and the mini-map, for instant viewing.

Download available from the player made mod index.

All maps are now fully completed and available for download.

Special thanks to Rider of Storms, for getting GMC the hard way and providing the maps used to create this mod.

Update notes[edit]

2009-03-06

  • Updated to uncover areas blacked out in previous releases.
  • Created Complete Collection, compressing all mods into a single file.
  • Decreased file size while increasing visual quality
  • Added notes on the map regarding cutscene and tutorial related map issues.

2008-09-15

  • Repaired broken section of Kryta due to map update.
  • Replaced blue fog with red.

Known Issues[edit]

  • Due to variances in the cartography code, it is possible to achieve 100% without exploring every square inch of the map. Therefore, there will be slight differences between maps. Some darkened areas may be able to be explored. As we find these variances, they will be corrected, and the mod updated.
    • Current examples of these variances can be seen here. →
  • Sometimes graphical glitches may appear when using texture modifications. If this happens, either minimize and restore the screen, or switch out to another application and back. This will usually fix any glitches.
  • When using any of these mods, the base fog area will be affected with the "No fog" property, and shall be partially transparent. This is due to all campaigns using the same fog texture, and cannot be adjusted.
