Unfortunately, I've class in a half hour, so I won't be able to use this for a while. Don't have too much fun without me. User Raine R.gif Raine - talk 15:28, 16 January 2009 (UTC)

Win. Should I sign here or not? --The preceding unsigned comment was added by User:Misery (talk).
We all know it's you. Well, all the important people, anyway.
On the other hand, red sigs are win. User Raine R.gif Raine - talk 15:33, 16 January 2009 (UTC)
You'd be putting me out of a job. Do you favor unemployment? Mori no Kinoko ni go Youjin QQ 15:34, 16 January 2009 (UTC)
Unemployment keeps social workers employed. --The preceding unsigned comment was added by User:Misery (talk).
The Great Depression was a liberal conspiracy to introduce the concept of "social workers". Mori no Kinoko ni go Youjin QQ 15:59, 16 January 2009 (UTC)
Those bastards! They are at it again! --The preceding unsigned comment was added by User:Misery (talk).
Wants to Buy more guildies so we can start GvGing again. =/ User Raine R.gif Raine - talk 02:25, 17 January 2009 (UTC)
I'm willing to guest for you (and suck at it), but I'm never leaving my current guild, let alone my alliance. Sorry. Mori no Kinoko ni go Youjin QQ 02:29, 17 January 2009 (UTC)
Oh, I wasn't asking; I was already made aware of that. User Raine R.gif Raine - talk 03:39, 17 January 2009 (UTC)
I will agree to guest for you if you agree to play at weird euro hours that are convenient to me and totally inconvenient for you. --The preceding unsigned comment was added by User:Misery (talk).
My "convenient hours" are on a strict schedule of whenever. User Raine R.gif Raine - talk 20:22, 17 January 2009 (UTC)
My "convenient hours" are on a strict schedule of never. That being said I may have found a new guild, wonder how that one will pan out. I know one of our monks is solid, I don't really know anything else though :D --The preceding unsigned comment was added by User:Misery (talk).
If you want to make a forum, go make a forum - this isn't it. Also, Vili, change your sig. --User Brains12 circle sig.png Brains12 \ talk 20:46, 17 January 2009 (UTC)
This isn't a talk page Brains T_T --The preceding unsigned comment was added by User:Misery (talk).
What's the problem? I don't see why this is detrimental. If there's something that I'm not aware of, something that I'm indirectly damaging by carrying this conversation, some ramification that I hadn't considered that inadvertently lowers the quality of the wiki, then I apologize, and I'll take means to rectify this problem. I'd also like to be made aware of said detriment, damaged fraction, and ramification, so that I won't make the same mistake in the future.
Once again, I apologize for any damage this may have caused. Thank you, in advance, for your time. User Raine R.gif Raine - talk 23:43, 17 January 2009 (UTC)
Seems to me like Brains has a problem with this being called a "forum". That would give the impression that this website is MyGuildWarsWikiSpace, instead of a site for encyclopedic documentation of Guild Wars. It's a bad image.
Despite the fact that we are not clogging RC, making huge 1,000,000+ chracter posts, breaking the page with unnecessary indents, or restricting the use of a talkpage; despite the fact that we are discussing Guild Wars related matters on a Guild Wars wiki; despite the fact that many other users also make useless remarks about non-Guild Wars or Wiki related things (on talk pages, no less), it seems like we are being singled out. That is all. Vili User talk:Vili 04:22, 18 January 2009 (UTC)
The reason I commented was because I assume you intend this page to be a spam/random stuff-type-section of a forum - basically what happened on Raine's talk page. It's not the matter of just being "called" a forum, it's the fact that it is (or will be) one. Again, look what happened on Raine's talk page. Talking about unrelated things is fine; if it enables some useful contribution somehow, great; if the users involved are just doing it on the side, that's fine. I'm not "singling anyone out". Doesn't seem like I'm getting anywhere though, so I'll keep my nose out from now. --User Brains12 circle sig.png Brains12 \ talk 16:05, 18 January 2009 (UTC)
Thank you.
While a lot of what was on my talk page was irrelevant (to GW, at least), a lot if it was germane. Even here in the Misc. section, I don't expect there to be such things as, say, WTF chains. I'll try to keep it... sane. Thank you for your concern, though. User Raine R.gif Raine - talk 06:25, 19 January 2009 (UTC)
One good point is that because this isn't a talk page, if I get too insane Raine can just delete me. --The preceding unsigned comment was added by User:Misery (talk).
Well, an outright NPA on a talkpage can always be removed, if it's your own talkpage anyway. So that isn't much different. The main difference now is that no matter how cluttered this page gets, it's not "obstructing a talk page", and so that argument is moot. Vili User talk:Vili 11:12, 19 January 2009 (UTC)
I also enjoy how the waste of storage space argument can be removed by simply deleting the page once in a while. --The preceding unsigned comment was added by User:Misery (talk).
Oh, I don't have to archive this, do I? Technicalities and loopholes are fun! :D User Raine R.gif Raine - talk 22:17, 19 January 2009 (UTC)
Well see, technically, every single time you edit a page you are adding <pagesize> more to the database, because every edit's diff (what you see in the history) is saved separately. So let's say for example this page was at 9000kb, and I made a smallish edit of 1,000 characters or +1kb. Well, it only "adds" 1kb, but to the database that is really +9001 kb. So it can be prudent to archive large pages, even if they are not talkpages. (Not that server/database storage should ever be an issue here, but if Linsey's etc. pages are any example, anything past 200kb is probably too large.) Vili User talk:Vili 04:29, 20 January 2009 (UTC)
By delete I meant {{delete}}, although I am aware revisions are stored for restoration, surely they aren't stored forever. --The preceding unsigned comment was added by User:Misery (talk).
Yes, I am aware of that. I was just commenting that pages ought never to get to such a state that that is necessary. ;) And anyway, revisions are stored for at least seven years, likely much longer. Vili User talk:Vili 03:50, 21 January 2009 (UTC)
