Dr. Stephen Clarke-Willson earned his Ph.D. in Computer Science from UC Irvine and began his career developing mission planning systems for the B-2 Stealth bomber at Northrop Corporation before transitioning to the gaming industry. He gained prominence as Vice President of Worldwide Product Development at Virgin Interactive from 1990-1994, where he supervised production of iconic titles like Disney's Aladdin, The Seventh Guest, and Dune II while growing the company from 8 to 180 developers worldwide. Most notably, Clarke-Willson has been a key figure at ArenaNet, serving as Studio Technical Director, server programmer, and currently as Game Director of Guild Wars.
