So this is going to be my first ever guild wars story. Heh..not sharing with others yet. ^_^

Please note that this is a fan made story by Dj Tesla with inspiration from friends

The Capture

The sky was black from the fires. Her throat was burning and every breath was very hard on her. Her eyes stung from tears. Gwen had been stuck inbetween peices of what was once walls. She had no clue had long it had been or where everyone was. All she knew is one minute she was playing her flute and the next everything was in flames.

Gwen looked around with her green eyes, hoping she would see her mother or father. She was so hungry and had no clue how long she had been laying there on the ground, stuck by the rocks. She coughed and then gasped and tried to hide under some of the rocks.

A loud rumble could be heard. His breath very close to where she was. She stared at him scared and helpless. His eyes were as cold as ice but they were the color of rubies. His teeth were bear and covered in blood. The blood dripped from his top teeth onto the fur around his mouth. She knew at that moment it was a charr. She watched him, trying to be as quiet as possible.

The charr was picking at something in his teeth. It was a piece of metal. He picked it out and threw it to the ground, then he walked away. Gwen cried silent tears as she saw the metal was the pendant to her mother's favorite necklace. She crawled under the rocks as much as possible and prayed to dwayna to save her or grenth to take her, so she could be with her family. Days seem to go by as she layed there crying, when a group of charr moved the rocks around and found her laying there. She was very weak and easy for them to carry.

Some of the charr laughed at her and told her she was going to be their midnight snack. Gwen was crying and then after looking back at the pendant again she looked at the charr and spit on them. "I will kill you. All of you one day. Those were my parents!", Gwen yelled. The charr just laughed as they dragged her to a cage and threw her in it.

The Memory

Tesla stood in old ascalon, staring at the enterance to a city that once was bright and colorful. She stood there looking at the crumbled buildings and remembered how they had looked two years before. At the enterance use to be beautiful double wooden doors to a stone court yard. Futher inside you had stairs leading up to other locations and merchants laid out with the wagons set up. Tesla closed her eyes for a minute as she got lost in the moment, then she reached into her belt and pulled out a torn cloth. A tear rolled down her cheek as she stared at it and then she looked back up at what was left of ascalon. She felt so weak, knowing that she was unable to help everyone two years ago. The little girl with her flute and cape, that always skipped around and followed her was never found. Tesla looked back down at the tapestry shed and put it back into her belt pouch. She felt so guilty for what happened to Gwen. Gwen had told Tesla that when she grew up, she wanted to be just like her. Tesla turned away from ascalon as another tear fell, knowing that Gwen would never get her chance to grow up and it was thanks to the charr.

Tesla had been traveling for 2 years now, after she swore she would become stronger to protect those who couldn't protect themselves. So what happened to Gwen, doesn't happen to anyone else. As Tesla walked towards piken's square her sadness grew. The once green fields with bright red iris flowers, would never be seen again. The small river and the trees by which Gwen use to hang out, were gone as well. The sky would never be crystal blue either. The charr had made sure of it. Their constant fires and raids made the sky orange and black. Everything was just so much darker now. Tesla continued walking along the old paths when she ran into a statue of Balthazar. She kneeled to see his avatar appear. She prayed asking for the strength to protect those that needed protecting as well as to have the strength to take out the charr. The avatar smiled to her as she offered him some gold and bestowed her with a blessing. Tesla continued on to where she had heard rumors of a huge scorpio attacking travlers. She figured she needed as much practice as possible and he was the closest thing to practice on.

What if, with that group of bandits...where she meets the sin, they end up having a relationship for a short time...till he is taken from her, by the charr (once again). Fulling her anger towards the charr even more. - Tesla 15:08, 10 September 2008 (UTC)

King Aderban call out for people to defend ascalon one Dj Tesla answered that call, "as to why you need to cover that on your own" :) . Remember your first quest and how it involved gwen.

shoot to post sear and look at the landscape holding that tapestry shed. How many times have you held this item over the past two years cursing your inability to save anyone. At this point staring at the landscape you vow to become stronger.

then you tell stories about your adventures.

Rekka's Ideas

1. Tesla meets a group of bandits. 2. Raid a charr camp 3. help rurik get to lions arch. 4. Save an elementalist from teh charr camp who join her and a assassin from the bandit camp

Katherine's Idea

Continue on with this story several years into the future where Telsa meets up with Gwen again. That would make a nice ending to a series of stories. ^^ Katherinezoltin 07:01, 30 December 2008 (UTC)
