ANet Mistakes[edit]

The purpose of this page is to compile hard evidence of ANet and support blunders in regard to guild wars primarily. These are instances of unfair treatment, favoritism, or plain ol' mess ups. It is not a place for people to put their opinions on ANet game changes or views on the EULA. This is not meant to be anti-ArenaNet, it is instead meant to be pro-ANetService-users. It's simply a defense for the users of ANet's service Guild Wars. I believe someone should do an Archive of ANet Successes, I won't be doing it because they have done a great job on many occasions with choices they have made therefore such a page would be a huge undertaking.

This section will be divided into 3 parts. Disproven, Circumstancial, and Hard Evidence. If you have something you would like to be archived here, put it in the discussion portion of this page. It will be reviewed and I will categorize it accordingly. Any evidence that turns out to not be true will be categorized as disproven.

Note Users providing evidence that is frequently disproven will have a lower viewing priority. Many IPs may have a lower viewing priority. Newer accounts may also have a lower viewing priority.

Hard Evidence

In order to qualify as hard evidence items must meet the following qualifications.

  • Videos of evidence w/ dates
  • Links to forum posts
  • Links to wiki posts w/ history
  • In game screen shots with email verification by support as accurate (you must do this)
  • Emails from ANet representatives

Note When EMailing...

  • Forward to ussgraf@gmail.com (this is a junk account)
  • Put only "ANet Evidence" (without the quotes but use casing) in the Subject line. (If you do not follow this the likelihood of me seeing your email is slim to none as it won't recieve a priority tag, because this email account is used for everything besides my close friends + family)
  • When forwarding if an email has more than 2 discourses or support is not the most recent reply it will only be categorized as circumstantial (unless I can get verification of accuracy).
  • All emails I will attempt to get verified by contacting support. If you can forward me verification of emails from your email service provider it will save me some time in having to contact support, though in some cases I may do so anyways. (If I can't get verification from support or an email service provider that evidence is circumstantial)
  • Send me a second email with ANet Evidence as the subject and supply me information so I can credit you. Your IGN or wiki account will do. If you wish to remain anonymous know that this will only apply to wiki users as ANet will be able to look up where the information came from.

When evidence qualifications are not met for hard evidence it will be categorized as circumstantial until it can be promoted to hard or disproven.
