Born into a family of poor Canthan beggars, the small girl knew nothing of combat and even less of fundamental knowledge. This all changed one day when she found a tattered book lying on the ground while playing in the Courthouse Square. The book, entitled "The Book of Five Rings" by Miyamoto Musashi, was a rare find, and opened the girls eyes to the powers of the sword. She now hones her skill with a Katana and the "Two Heavens-One Style" at Shing Jea Monestary.
