About Me edit
I am a teacher in the Birmingham/Solihull area, and because I wish to remain somewhat undiscoverable to my students I avoid using my name anywhere online. I graduated in 2004 with a BSc in Computer Science from Edinburgh and followed it with an MSc in Information Technology (which I still need to finish! Just need to come up with a good Major Project) and a PGCE in Secondary ICT and Mathematics from Keele. I've been teaching for 3 years now (4 if you include the PGCE year in that calculation) and despite appearances actually love my job. I specialised in Web Technologies in my undergrad degree and again in my (currently unfinished) MSc, so it strikes me as amusing that this is my first experiment with a wiki. Contact Me edit

Prophecies[edit]I finally completed Prophecies on Jasing with the help of my guild. Still missing some of the Master Titles though. Whilst I enjoy Prophecies, getting the cartography title on it annoys me no end. I must have ran some of the missions 5438953 times trying to get all the little bits. On the other hand, I've managed to cap all the Core and Prophecy Elites for Necromancers and Mesmers on it (on Jasing). Factions[edit]Factions was the first game I bought and for a while I loved it. Then I got to Kaineng and my love of Factions disappeared. I then bought Prophecies and recently went back to Factions with my Prophecies character, and well, once I got out of the city I liked it again. I think my hate of it was mostly due to the multitude of levels and small alleyways in the city, not to mention failing Nahpui Quarter more times than I care to remember with Saraid. I'm undecided between Luxon and Kurzick though and appear to be spending my time building up one set of faction, cashing it in and then building up the other set. I must admit however, that it is taking me forever to get enough faction in either to get a title. Then again, I have also now managed to cap all the Necromancer and Mesmer Elites on Jasing... Nightfall[edit]Despite starting this when it first came out, I only managed to complete it in Nov 2008. Mostly this was because I got stuck on Morah, and after trying it a few times I gave up and helped a Guildie to work through the game. I then managed to complete Morah a couple of days before he got to that stage - I guess I was just lucky! I like Nightfall for a variety of reasons, mostly the heroes, but I also like the plotline, even if it is even more linear than Prophecies! Eye of the North[edit]I have two characters in Eye of the North. Jasing is about halfway through it, whereas Sashar has only just got there (I wanted to finish Nightfall with her before making the leap across). Eye of the North also has the last remaining bit for Jasing's Black Moa Chick and I have lost track of exactly how many hours I have spent farming Stone Grawl Necklaces having used my honeycomb months and months ago. |
